Abstract

The early marriage is an old existing phenomenon. It has historical and social roots. This phenomenon is very related to the beliefs of the societies as well as their customs and traditions. However, it has not been dealt with as a phenomenon since recent times because of the different problems that resulted from it: social, phycological, and health problems. These problems led to the disturbance of the family structure and maybe its dissolution.

یعد الزواج المبکر ظاهرة موجودة منذ القدم، حیث أن لها جذور تاریخیة وإجتماعیة، مرتبطة إرتباطا وثیقاً بقیم المجتمعات وعاداتها وتقالیدها، ولکن لم یتم الحدیث عنها کظاهرة إلا فی الآونة الأخیرة، نظرا لما ترتب علیها من مشکلات متنوعة، إجتماعیة، نفسیة، صحیة، أفقدت النسق الأسری توازنه، وربما إنحلاله.
