A study on some soci-economic factors affecting small projects in rural Assiut governorate

Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify the social and economic factors affecting the success of small projects owners in the rural area of Assiut Governorate, determine the relative importance of these factors, to identify the effects of the small projects establishment, and identify the obstacles and problems that facing the small projects owners and their suggestions for its success. The sample involved 240 owners of small projects from the four centers: Abnoub (83 respondents), Al-Fath (51 respondents), Dirout (56 respondents), and Al-Qusiya (50 respondents), Data were collected by using a questionnaire by personal interviews. All independent and dependent variables were measured. Furthermore, the statistical methods used in this study are descriptive analysis, tests of simple correlation coefficient, multiple linear regression, and step wise multiple regression. Moreover, the result of correlation coefficient indicated that there is positive significant relationships between independent variables, While there is a negative significant relationship between loan installment and the overall success level of the respondent project. It was found that the independent variables together contribute to explaining more than 66% of the variance that occurred to the degree of overall success of the respondents project. There are nine independent variables that have a significant effect on the respondent’ success in the project.

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على العوامل الاجتماعية والاقتصادية المؤثرة علي نجاح أصحاب المشروعات الصغيرة بريف محافظة أسيوط، وتحديد الأهمية النسبية لهذه العوامل، والتعرف على الآثار المترتبة علي إقامة المشروعات الصغيرة، والتعرف علي المعوقات والمشاکل التي تواجه أصحابها ومقترحاتهم لنجاحها، وبلغت عينة الدراسة 240 مبحوثا من أصحاب المشروعات الصغيرة من المراکز الأربعة أبنوب (83 مبحوثا)، والفتح (51 مبحوثا)، وديروط (56 مبحوثا)، والقوصية (50 مبحوثا)، وتم استخدم الاستمارة البحثية (الاستبيان) کأداة لجمع بيانات الدراسة من خلال المقابلة الشخصية للمبحوثين، وعقب قياس کافة متغيرات الدراسة المستقلة والتابعة، استخدمت بعض الأساليب الإحصائية الوصفية، والتحليلية (اختبار معامل الارتباط البسيط، واختباري الانحدار الخطي المتعدد والمتدرج الصاعد).
وبينت نتائج الارتباط وجود علاقة معنوية موجبة بين مستوي النجاح الإجمالي لمشروع المبحوث وکل من المتغيرات المستقلة محل الدراسة، بينما توجد علاقة معنوية سالبة بينه وبين قيمة قسط القرض، واتضح أن المتغيرات المستقلة مجتمعة تسهم في تفسير ما يزيد عن 66% من التباين الحادث لدرجة النجاح الإجمالي للمبحوث بالمشروع، ويوجد تسعة متغيرات مستقلة ذات تأثير معنوي على نجاح المبحوث في المشروع، مما يعني أن هذه المتغيرات الخمسة مجتمعة تفسر قرابة 54% من التباين في درجة النجاح الإجمالي للمبحوث بالمشروع.
