Abstract

This paper aims to explore the determinants of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the agricultural sector in Egypt on both the sectoral and national levels. The paper used quarterly series data from July 2008 to June 2018 for agricultural FDI in Egypt as dependent variable, and eleven macroeconomic and agricultural economics exogenous variables.

أستهدفت هذه الورقة اکتشاف محددات الإستثمار الزراعى فى القطاع الزراعى المصرى على کل من المستویین القطاعى والقومى. وتم استخدام سلاسل بیانات ربع سنویة من یولیو 2008 إلى یونیو 2018 للاستثمار الأجنبى المباشر کمتغیر تابع، ولإحدى عشر متغیراً شارحاً. وتم توظیف المربعات الصغرى المعتادة، والمربعات الصغرى المُرحجة کأداتى قیاس للعلاقة بین المتغیر التابع والمتغیرات التابعة
